Terms of service
These umbrella terms apply across all JulieLabs products. Each product may publish additional, tool-specific terms at its own domain; those take precedence for users of that product where they conflict.
Who we are
JulieLabs is an independent SaaS lab. By using any of our products, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use our products. One person, one account — please don't share or resell accounts.
What we provide
We provide our tools "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make them reliable and fast, but we don't promise zero downtime or perfect output. Outputs generated by tools that use language models (such as tweet copy or clip selection) are suggestions, not editorial decisions — you are responsible for reviewing and editing before publishing anywhere.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our products to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or harm someone else.
- Upload, submit, or process content that infringes copyright, trademark, or publicity rights without permission. You represent that you have the rights to any input you submit.
- Try to interfere with the service: scraping the product itself, probing for vulnerabilities outside a published bug-bounty channel, evading rate limits, or running automated tools that disrupt the service for other users.
- Resell access to our products under your own brand without a written agreement.
- Use the products to generate misleading, deceptive, or harassing content directed at others.
Paid plans, billing, and refunds
If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method on file on the schedule shown at checkout. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account — cancelling stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the paid period.
We don't pro-rate refunds for unused time on a subscription period. If something on our end clearly broke and you didn't get the service you paid for, email us and we'll make it right.
Third-party content
Our products may fetch or display content from third parties (YouTube videos, X posts, and similar). We don't own that content and we don't control the rules its owners attach to it. You're responsible for using third-party content within the limits of its license and the host platform's terms.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. We claim no ownership over your inputs or the outputs we generate for you. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs for the sole purpose of operating the product you're using.
The JulieLabs name, product names, logos, and source code (where not open-source) are ours. Don't use them to suggest endorsement, affiliation, or to confuse users about who built what.
Termination
You can stop using our products and delete your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms, or if the cost of providing service to a particular account becomes unreasonable due to abuse.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, JulieLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the products is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
Changes
If we change these terms, the "last updated" date at the top moves. Material changes get a heads-up via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
